Kolukkumalai Trip

A wonderful and exciting trip to the world's highest tea plantations - Kolukkumalai.

Kolukkumalai is situated near the stunning Munnar Hill station, in Kerala, India.

We started our journey from Kaloor at 6 a.m. in a KSRTC bus going to Suryanelly near Kolukkumalai. We reached there at 1 p.m. and after our lunch, we hired a four wheeler jeep and started our journey at 2.30 p.m. It was a risky and hard drive because the path is laid with huge stones which is uneven and heavy digs. Finally, we reached our destination at 4.45 p.m.

It was a memorable experience because of the deserted place, and everywhere deep silence and enchanting beauty of the mountains there.
