Stratford Attractions

Tourist attractions at Stratford Upon Avon

Stratford Upon Avon is the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Set on the banks of beautiful River Avon, it is a place steeped in culture and history. I had a wonderful opportunity to visit the hometown of this great writer and spend a long weekend there, with my family.

We visited some of the important places there -

  • Shakespeare's Birthplace
  • A cruise in the River Avon
  • The RSC Theatre
  • Harvard House
  • Mary Arden's Farm
  • Market Place
  • Anne Hathaway's Cottage

I have written a travelogue about this trip which can be seen here.
