Tanzania Attractions

Tanzania Attractions - visiting Tanzania was never in my list of destinations I wanted to visit. But after landing at Dar es Salaam, the commercial hub of Republic of Tanzania, where my daughter had taken up a job recently, I was very happy for the opportunity I got to visit this beautiful land.

Tanzania with her long history of tribal habitation dating back 3,000 to 5,000 years ago, is a beautiful tourist destination. Located in East Africa, Tanzania is bordered by Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique to the south, Kenya and Uganda to the north, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo to the west and Indian Ocean to the east. Tanzania is blessed with abundant natural beauty like forests, animals, lakes, rivers and beaches, and a must visit place. The lives of Tanzanians depend on natural resources.

Though Swahili is the national language one can get away with English here since a good percentage of people know English. Local people are very friendly and helpful.
